Located in the heart of Downtown Tulare at 455 E. Tulare Avenue, Zumwalt Park was redeveloped and reopened in 2025 and is now home to the Adventist Health Amphitheater—a premier outdoor venue designed to host world-class live entertainment, community celebrations, and cultural events. In addition to the amphitheater, the park features a splash pad, play structures, restrooms, a gazebo, and plenty of green space for relaxation and recreation.

Park Hours & Splash Pad Schedule

Zumwalt Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., except during special events. Follow the City’s social media for closure updates.

The splash pad operates Fridays through Sundays, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and is closed from November through Memorial Day weekend.

Adventist Health Amphitheater

The Adventist Health Amphitheater is a shining example of public-private collaboration between the City of Tulare, Adventist Health Tulare, and Spade Entertainment, the official operator of the venue’s concert series. The City provided the vision, funding, and location in historic Zumwalt Park, while Adventist Health is the naming rights sponsor, and Spade Entertainment brings its industry expertise to manage programming, operations, and promotion.
