Think Before You Flush!

Happy Toilet, Happy Pipes.

An overflowing toilet can ruin your home in an instant and can be very costly.

Just a small amount of HOUSEHOLD WASTE flushed down the toilet (or dumped down the drain) CAN CLOG PIPES and cause nasty and costly messing your home.

Improperly disposing of these items also causes the sanitary sewer system to clog and overflow into the community.

REMEMBER...Only human waste and toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet. Anything else will tangle and block lines causing overflows.

Just Remember the BIG 3 To Do's!

1. ONLY FLUSH 2 ITEMS: Toilet Paper & Natural Waste

 2. Dispose of ALL WIPES in the trash:

May be an image of text that says 'FLUSHABLE WIPES ARE NOT FLUSHABLE!'

"FLUSHABLE WIPES" are a MAJOR PROBLEM for our sanitary sewer. Even though the package says they are "FLUSHABLE", they do not break down while traveling to the wastewater treatment facility.

3. NEVER FLUSH THESE ITEMS DOWN THE TOILET OR DRAIN:

Remember it's a toilet, not a trash can! Be sure to toss the trash in the trash!
