On behalf of City of Tulare City Fire Department (TFD), I truly appreciate you taking time to visiting the website and learn what TFD does for you community and visitors of city. TFD is aware and will remain vigilant and evaluate the evolving environment our citizens and visitors face on a daily basis. TFD takes great pride in the service to our community and our goals is to continually improve and progress our knowledge, skills, abilities, tactics, techniques, and procedures to meet any emergency service or hazards our citizens may face now and into the future.
TFDs #1 priority is to prevent fires, hazards, and all emergencies. TFDs Fire Prevention team is always on the ready to keep the community safe with regards to fire prevention, fire code enforcement and public education to help our citizen and community mitigate fires, hazardous materials, and all possible hazards. TFD Suppression Division is filled with diverse individuals who provide world class professional fire and emergency services and non-emergency needs any time we are called upon. Our Training Division is second to none, this division is always finding new and innovate ways to training our TFD personnel to keep them trained and educated to the highest levels.
