The City of Tulare seeks to obtain products and services required by the City at the lowest price. To accomplish this goal, competitive bids and proposals are solicited from vendors on an as-needed basis.

Under the City's purchasing policy, all purchases or contracts for supplies, equipment, maintenance services, or public contracts with an estimated value below $25,000 require the use of an informal bid, and contracts estimated to be over $25,000 are required to use the formal bid process. 

Notices concerning Requests for Proposals may be included in the listing below; however, since cost is not necessarily the primary basis for award, Requests for Proposals are not publicly opened and declared.
