BEST Club 

B.E.S.T. stands for Bringing Everyone's Strength's Together. The Recreation Department provides a place where your Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade student can feel safe, increase strength and fitness by participating in group activities, expand their creativity and enjoy socialization. Recreation leaders are on site to provide arts and crafts, music, movies, games, sports and special events.

Dates and Times

B.E.S.T. Clubs are open Monday through Friday, afterschool until 5:30 p.m. on regular school days, early release and minimum days (observing the same schedule as Tulare City Schools).

Registration

Registrations for the 2025-2026 school year will be taken beginning April 1, 2025. There will be no charge for this coming school year. You will need to register your child online here before your child can attend the program. Please contact us at (559) 684-4310 for any questions you may have.

Spring Camp

Do you need a place for your child to be safe and have fun during the Spring Break? The Tulare Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a week-long Spring Holiday Camp for children in the Kindergarten through 6th grades. They will enjoy indoor and outdoor activities such as group sports, games, crafts, and movie sessions. Parents, you must provide a sack lunch for your child. Snacks may be purchased at the camp or they may bring their own. This camp is limited to the first 40 children.

Summer Day Camp

Need a place for your child(ren) to be safe while having fun during Summer Break?  Tulare Parks & Recreation offers a 7 week Summer Day Camp for children who have completed TK thru incoming 6th graders.  Participants will enjoy indoor and outdoor activities such as group games, sports, crafts, movies & more.  PLEASE BRING A SACK LUNCH.  Snacks may be purchased at the camp or brought from home. Register early because Summer Day Camp is limited to the first 50 registered children per day.  For more information call (559) 684-4310.

Winter Camp  

Do you need a place for your child to be safe and have fun during the Winter Break? The Tulare Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a 3-week Camp for children in Kindergarten through 6th grades. They will enjoy indoor activities such as group sports, games, crafts, dress up days and more!

Parents, you must provide a sack lunch for your child each day. Snacks may be purchased at the camp or they may bring their own. This camp is limited to the first 50 children.
