Book Spine-tingling Poetry Contest October 1st - October 26th.
(Teens in high school or 13-17)

1. Create your own festive poem by stacking books so the spines (titles) can be read to make a poem. (see banner above)
2. Take a picture of your poem then post it on the event page, tag the library @TulareLibrary , or use the #TeenTober on InstagramTwitter, & Facebook or print the image and bring it to the library. Entry Forms are at the Youth Desk in the library.

Teen Advisory Board

  • Must be 13 - 18 in grades 8-12 to apply. 
  • Meetings are the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm in the Charter Room. 
  • As a member you'll get to
    • Earn volunteer credit/hours you can list on job and college applications. 
    • Help with events for kids and teens. 
    • Meet other teens who share your interests. 
    • Suggest books, movies, music, etc. that you want to see in the library 
  • To apply fill out a volunteer application
