Remove your water thirsty lawn and replace it with a water-wise, native landscape and earn up $4,500 for residential properties or $15,000 for commercial properties. The City is offering $3.00 per square foot of lawn removed up to 1,500 square feet for residential properties and up to 5,000 square feet for commercial properties.

Please be sure to read through all the terms and conditions before applying. Lawn must remain in place until pre-approval is granted.

Rebate does NOT cover artificial turf; concrete, mortared, or glued paths or patios; low-water lawns from seed or sod.

Funding for this program has been provided in full or part from the Budget Act of 2021 and through an agreement with the State Department of Water Resources.
