Press Release - Aviation Committee Vacancy
The City of Tulare is accepting applications for one (1) vacancy on the Aviation Committee serving an unexpired term ending December 31, 2019; however, the Council may elect to appoint to a four-year term.
The Tulare Aviation Committee, a five member advisory board appointed by the City Council, is charged with the responsibility of making recommendations to the Council and staff in all areas related to city airport use, improvements and development of Mefford Field. Quarterly meetings of the Committee are held quarterly the fourth Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. Members serve a four year term.
Applications are available at the City Clerk’s Office and online at www.tulare.ca.gov. The deadline to submit an application is August 30, 2019, at 5:00 p.m.
Interviews for this vacancy will be conducted at the City Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 7 p.m. located at the Tulare Public Library & Council Chambers, 491 North “M” Street.
