The City of Tulare Parks and Recreation Department encourages you to explore rental options the City has to offer. From an informal outdoor ceremony to a large banquet, we have a facility to meet your needs. Reserving is easy and fees are reasonable. Please call the Department at (559)684-4310 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and staff will gladly answer any questions and check on the availability of your desired dates. Visit the site that you are interested in to determine if it will fulfill your needs. Reservations can be made by stopping by the Department, 830 S. Blackstone Street.

Hourly rental fees vary for each building, ranging from $60 per hour to $80 per hour plus a refundable security deposit. Rental fees include use of facility, tables and chairs, and a building attendant who will remain in the facility for the duration of the rental. This 11,000 square foot facility is a beautiful and well-lit facility loaded with activities and services that is specially built for adults in the community. The public is invited to tour this facility which is open for public rental. The Louis Rich Room can accommodate up to 450 individuals (theater-style) or 200 for dining. The Cascade Room accommodates 34 persons and the Sierra Room (separated by a partition) up to 26 persons. The Sierra/Cascade Room combined can accommodate up to 50 persons for dining or 60 theater-style. The Bill Thompson Conference Room accommodates 15 persons. A kitchenette, round tables and chairs, stage and sound system complement this facility.

Fees to reserve Louis Rich Room:  $70 per hour for Private functions 1-100 people
                                                         $80 per hour for Private functions 100-200 people 
Fees to reserve the Bill Thompson Room:  $25 per hour for Private functions

Fees to reserve the Sierra or Cascade Room:  $40 per hour for Private functions

Fees to reserve the Combined Sierra/Cascade Room:  $55 per hour for Private functions                                                         

Refundable Deposit for all rooms (required to make a reservation): 
                                                   $150 for groups of less than 150 people
                                                   $300 for groups of more than 150 people and dance functions

(Deposit paid is separate from rental fees due.  Cash or check deposit will be returned by mail no later than four(4) weeks following the event provided there is no damage to the building or additional use charges.  Credit card deposits will be processed the next business day following your function.)

Professional security guards will be required at all rentals having music and/or a dance.  Any event having music and/or dance without professional security guards will be asked to discontinue the music until guards arrive.  It shall be the responsibility of the user to pay a security company approved by the City for the required number of security guards.  If the guards do not arrive, the dance/music will not be allowed.  Professional security guards will be required as follows:

Up to 100 persons:  2 security guards
101-150 persons:  3 security guards
More than 150 persons:  4 security guards
