Tulare Public Library warmly invites poets and poetry enthusiasts alike for a night of poetic entertainment- we’re hosting a Poetry Jam!
Join us in the Council Chambers on June 11th, 2026, at 6:00pm, as members of the community embrace a moment in the spotlight to present poetry of their choice.
Presenters are not required to write their selected poems and will have up to 3 minutes to present their selected poetry. Presenters may present multiple poems if they choose, so long as they do not exceed their given presentation time of 3minutes.
In order to present at this event, prior sign-up is required.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
To sign-up for this program, patrons must submit the following Google Form and have their choice of poetry pre-approved.
Poetry Selection Guidelines:
- Poetry may not contain explicit language, or explicit mature content.
- Presenter is allowed to present multiple poems during their time slot, so long as the combined presentation does not exceed the given time of 3 minutes.
- Costumes/props/instruments are allowed on a case-by-case basis and must be pre-approved.
